Dear Lola & Maeve,

Your Aunty Jules & I have been busy bees over the past couple of months. We are working on a little something and will be launching our very own web site early next week (fingers crossed)!

But firstly, we have three little ladies we need to thank from the bottom of our tired but overflowing hearts.

Lola, Edie & Maeve - thank you for being our wee models. For staying still when asked, for being pulled this way & that way. "Look here". "Look there"."Now sit, roll, stay!" Yes, we do realise you are not puppies, despite our commands.

Although you were very obedient & patient for the most part, thanks to help of chocolate freckles (for Lola) and the promise of lizards, real ones (for Edie).

A few out-takes from our photo sessions - minus the products we are actually selling. You'll have to wait that little bit longer to find out what they are :)

Dear Lola & Maeve,

Family picnics. For my whole life & from my earliest memories, which for me start around the age of three, there have always been family picnics.

Tartan check throws, wicker picnic baskets, Oma's potato salad, Opa's stories, ball games and a leisurely stroll after we fill our bellies, only to come back & bask in the sun some more, and feast on sweet cakes & sip warm tea. With the setting sun and coolness of the early evening sending us home.

On Good Friday we gathered once more, at an old favourite, to share our time like we have done so many times before.

A few photos.

My wish for you Lola & Maeve, is for a lifetime of family picnics just like this one.

Dear Lola,

You are three and a half.

You have a huge passion for music.

You share this passion with your papa every single day.

You have never had a hair cut.

If you did have it cut, you would like it to match Elvis Presley.

You have a broad & hilarious vocabulary.

You love to dance.

You can be fiery and bossy.

You are mostly sweet, funny, affectionate & full of joy.

So much joy.

You love life immensely.

In my eyes, you look exactly like your papa.

You are incredibly helpful.

You can calmly talk your way out of anything. Well you try to anyway.

You are wise & witty.

You love dinosaurs & sticker books & activity books.

You are a conversationalist.

You are an adoring big sister.

Your big family mean the whole entire world to you.

You dressed yourself, found my strawberry lip balm... and put bows in your hair.

"I don't need a shirt.. after all, the sun's out."

 Stay young sweet peachface.
